A gentle evening designed to soothe your system and guide you into the sweetest rest.
In this special session, Anemone ( who not only teaches at the studio but is also a medical doctor ) will offer a deeply calming acupuncture treatment to help regulate your nervous system, release tension, and ease your body into a state of quiet balance. While the acupuncture points begin to work their magic, Alexa will guide you through a soft and immersive sound bath — a blend of singing bowls, chimes, and slow, spacious frequencies that invite your body to settle and your mind to slow down.
This practice is created to support deep relaxation, better sleep, and a sense of being held and restored at the end of the day. Think: unwinding the mind, softening the edges of the body, and letting yourself drop into a state of ease you don’t often get to feel.
Come as you are, get cosy, and let the combination of sound and acupuncture carry you gently toward the sweetest dreams.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Acupuncture is not recommended for individuals with needle phobia, bleeding or clotting disorders, local skin infections, severe psychiatric conditions, epilepsy, or during pregnancy ( even though not a strict contraindication, certain points may stimulate labour and therefore we do not offer this practice during pregnancy )
ABOUT ANEMONE
Anemone holds space for a practice that invites presence from the very first breath. It is intuitive and grounded, with a quiet strength that moves through the body in soft waves. Her classes are an exploration — a tuning-in, a conversation between movement and stillness, between the physical and the unseen. The practice becomes a way to recognise and honour the whole self ( body, mind and soul ), meeting what arises with openness and curiosity.
Rooted in Vinyasa, Hatha and Awakening Yoga, Anemone’s teaching weaves together structure and freedom. With a professional background as a family doctor, she brings a deep understanding of anatomy and a profound respect for the uniqueness of each individual. Her classes are designed to meet you as you are, supporting long-term well-being rather than uniformity.
Anemone sees movement, and especially yoga, as a form of medicine — a holistic way of healing that reaches beyond the physical into emotional, mental and spiritual realms. For her, yoga is a way to reconnect with our inner landscape and to live more fully, freely, and in tune with ourselves
ABOUT ALEXA
Alexa discovered yoga when she was 15 years old. What began as a physical practice slowly became something she kept returning to through different phases of life. In 2021, she completed her first teacher training and since then has immersed herself deeply in the study and practice of yoga.
Over the years, she has completed more than 1000 hours of training across different traditions. While she continues to explore many approaches to the practice, Jivamukti Yoga and Yin are the methods where she feels most at home. Alexa is curious about the many layers of yoga beyond the physical practice, from philosophy and chanting to the subtle experience of breath, sound, and stillness.
In her classes, you might hear the harmonium, explore a piece of yogic wisdom, move through a strong and steady asana practice, or be guided into moments of stillness. At the heart of her teaching is the wish to create a space where people can experience themselves more fully. Her classes invite students to explore the practice with presence, curiosity, and a sense of joy.
