The Foundations Harmonium Workshop focuses on building a solid foundation in harmonium playing. You will learn the fundamental techniques, from the anatomy and history of the harmonium to proper posture and hand positioning, as well as understanding the keyboard and simple chord transitions.
Together, we’ll explore how to work with the bellows, how to play with dynamics ( loud and soft ), how to approach mantras musically, and how to develop trust in your own sound.
This workshop is ideal for beginners, or for anyone who would like to reconnect with the basics.
The workshop will be held in either English or German, depending on the participants.
ABOUT FELICIA
Felicia was introduced to yoga at the age of eight by her mother, who took her to classes, chanted mantras with her in the car, and filled their home with the music of Krishna Das. Early influences of Sivananda and Bhakti Yoga shaped her deeply, and by the age of fifteen, Jivamukti Yoga became her sacred space. With her mother’s support, she explored yoga, self-experience, and community at the OSHO Humaniversity Ashram.
At nineteen, she completed her 300-hour Jivamukti Teacher Training in New York, followed by a 500-hour apprenticeship in Munich with her mentor Zsuzsanna Villányi.
After teaching in Munich, she followed her sense of adventure to Berlin in 2017, where she joined the Jivamukti Yoga School and passed the Advanced Board Exam the following year.
Along the way, Felicia travelled, studied Sanskrit, midwifery, and Tibetan traditions, and was introduced to Buddhism. These years have been marked by learning, solitude, connection, and growth. For the past six years, she has been dedicated to training new yoga teachers, as well as leading workshops and sharing her love for yoga, bhakti, and the harmonium.
All of these experiences, and the people and places within them, have shaped who she is today: ever changing, full and empty, in love with life. In her classes, she shares these experiences through asana, silence, chanting, and the creation of space for others to connect with their own fullness and inner wisdom.
